I thought it might be interesting to see the top 25 websites in Hong Kong by DA/DR and Traffic.

This data comes from traffic reports within the geographical region of Hong Kong in 2023.

I’ll do the same next year and let’s see the differences.

The internet trends of Hong Kong in 2023 demonstrated a society that was both technologically advanced and linked.

At the start of the year, there were 6.97 million people connected to the internet, which is equivalent to a penetration rate of 93.1%. The use of social media was quite prevalent, as evidenced by the fact that 6.73 million people, or 89.9% of the population, participated.

This high level of participation was also reflected in the fact that 96.5% of those who use the internet participated in at least one social media site. It was astonishing how well mobile connectivity worked since there were 16.75 million cellular mobile connections, which was 223.7% more than the total population.

The median download speed for mobile devices reached 56.51 megabits per second (Mbps), while the median download speed for fixed internet connections reached 194.35 Mbps, reflecting considerable gains over the previous year.
